Scaffolding for New Builds & Extensions

Scaffolding for Construction Sites & Building Work

As the shell rises, bricklayers, roofers, and window fitters all need a solid perch at different heights. A scaffold climbs with the walls, giving each trade a steady deck and loading bays for blocks and trusses.

Guard rails tick the safety boxes, so inspectors sign off without fuss and the schedule stays on track. For more on our setups, see scaffolding services.

Why use scaffolding for new builds & extensions

Multi-Trade Access

Adjustable decks for bricklayers, roofers, and fitters at different heights.

Roof-Level Loading

Materials stay close with built-in loading bays.

Full Compliance

Scaffold meets CDM and Work at Height safety rules.

Smoother Workflow

Several trades can work at once without delays.

Cleaner Site

Tidy access and fewer trip hazards reduce accidents and rework.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the scaffold go up?

Usually once foundations cure and the ground floor blocks start. It then rises in stages with the build.

Can the scaffold move if the footprint changes?

Yes. We add or remove bays and lifts as walls extend or roof trusses arrive.

Do single-storey extensions need edge protection?

If the fall is above two metres or a trench runs alongside, guardrails are still required under Work at Height rules.
